TID Changeable UHF Magic Card
This TID changeable UHF magic card supports rewriting the normally factory-locked Tag Identifier through a compatible backdoor command. It operates at 860–960 MHz and follows ISO 18000-6C / EPC Gen2, making it suitable for authorized RFID security research, tag interoperability testing, lab cloning experiments, custom serialization, and anti-counterfeiting analysis.

What Makes It a Magic UHF Card?
Standard UHF RFID tags normally have a factory-locked, globally unique TID. This card is different: with a compatible reader and the correct command set, the TID can be overwritten for authorized research and development workflows.
- RFID security research and penetration testing on systems you own or are authorized to assess
- UHF tag cloning and emulation lab work
- Custom TID encoding for proprietary systems
- Anti-counterfeiting and interoperability testing
Compatible Readers
TID rewriting requires a reader and software workflow that supports ISO 18000-6C backdoor write commands. Choose a compatible MTools Tec reader for your desktop, mobile, Flipper Zero, or Cardputer workflow.
UHF Expansion for FlipperZero
Portable inventory on Flipper Zero, plus supported TID read/write workflows through Windows PC or Android mode.
UHF Expansion for Cardputer Zero / ADV
Compact Cardputer expansion with compatible PC and Android reader/writer workflows. Cardputer features depend on firmware.
UHF Reader – Support Changing TID
Dedicated USB/OTG reader for supported inventory, read, write, lock, kill, and TID-change operations.
Mode note: The current Flipper Zero application focuses on portable inventory and CSV export. Use supported Windows PC or Android reader/writer mode for TID rewriting. Cardputer-side capabilities depend on the installed application and firmware.
How to Change the TID
Watch the official MTools Tec video, How to use UHF Reader to change the TID of UHF Tag, for a practical demonstration with a compatible reader and TID-changeable UHF tag.
- Connect a compatible UHF reader and open its supported reader/writer software.
- Inventory the tag, select the target tag, and read its current EPC and TID data.
- Enter the required TID value and use the supported TID write command.
- Read the tag again to verify that the new TID was written correctly.
Flipper Zero App Update
The UHF Expansion app for Flipper Zero will support fast reading and writing of EPC, TID, and other supported UHF tag memory data in a future app update. The current app remains focused on portable inventory and CSV export until that update is released.
Important: Change tag data only on RFID tags and systems you own or are explicitly authorized to test.
Construction
White PVC substrate with an aluminum etched antenna, inverted chip bonding, and laminated composite construction. Select the long 11 × 3 cm card or the wallet-friendly credit card format to match your application.
Responsible use: Use only with RFID tags and systems you own or have explicit permission to test, and follow applicable radio and access-control regulations.
