A COMPLETE RF WORKBENCH

Move between bands without rebuilding your setup.

The ESP32-DIV V2 is designed for developers, makers, and security researchers who need a compact platform for observing signals, testing protocol behavior, and building custom RF tools. Its stacked main board and RF shield bring the display, controls, radios, antennas, IR hardware, and microSD storage into a single portable device.

The open-source ESP32-DIV firmware provides tools for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE, NRF24, Sub-GHz, infrared, RFID/NFC, GPS, and device management. Feature availability depends on the installed firmware and connected hardware.

PHYSICAL DESIGN

A practical stacked-board format.

The exposed, serviceable construction keeps the RF shield and main controller accessible for development. Four external antenna connections sit above the display, while the touchscreen and physical controls remain easy to reach during bench and field testing.

The product supplied is the assembled ESP32-DIV V2 hardware shown in the gallery. A battery, USB cable, tags, GPS receiver, and other accessories are not listed as included.

Important compatibility notes

  • The CC1101 433MHz function and UART share pins and cannot be used at the same time.
  • The NRF24 2.4GHz function and infrared function have a hardware resource conflict and cannot be used at the same time.
  • The buzzer shares a pin with the charging or battery-sense circuit; buzzer behavior may occur while charging.
  • microSD behavior depends on firmware. Keep backups of important card data before testing new builds.
  • This is open-source development hardware. Features can change between firmware versions and may require configuration, flashing, or troubleshooting.

Responsible use

Use ESP32-DIV V2 only for education, development, and research on networks, devices, signals, and access systems that you own or have explicit permission to test. Radio regulations vary by location; the operator is responsible for lawful frequencies, output power, and operation.
