Bruce FW Update with PN532/PN532Killer: BLE Extension, UID Reader, Emulator & Sniffer Control

๐Ÿ”ต Feature 1: BLE Extension Module

Wireless PN532 Operation
Your M5StickC now becomes a Bluetooth bridge for PN532 and PN532Killer modules. Simply enable BLE in Bruce’s menu, then connect wirelessly via the MTools BLE App to read full Mifare Classic data.

๐Ÿ”ด Feature 2: Standalone UID Reader

Instant Tag Identification
Retrieve ISO14443 and ISO15693 UIDs with minimal interaction using just your M5StickC’s buttons.

ISO14443 includes Mifare Classic, Mifare Ultralight and Mifare DESFire. The UID length includes 4, 7 and 10 bytes.

ISO15693 includes ICODE SLIX, ICODE SLIX 2, ICODE SLIX-L, and ICODE SLIX-S. The UID length is 7 bytes.

Multi-Slot Tag Emulation
PN532Killer now fully emulates:

  • Mifare Classic 1K
  • NTAG series
  • ISO15693 tags

New Capabilities:

  • 8 configurable slots: Store different tag profiles for quick access
  • Dynamic switching: Cycle through slots with Next/Previous buttons
  • Cross-protocol emulation: Simulate different tag technologies simultaneously

Dual-Mode Key Sniffing
Capture Mifare Classic authentication keys in two optimized scenarios:

MFKey32v2: Tagless Sniffing

  • Set custom UID via Next button
  • Position near target reader
  • Passively capture wireless communications

MFKey64: Tag-Assisted Sniffing

  • Place physical tag with PN532Killer
  • Position both near reader
  • Capture complete authentication handshake

Pro Tip: For Mode B, stack PN532Killer directly on top of your test tag at 3-5cm from reader for optimal results.

    For me the Mtools BLE app recognize the PN532killer as generic PN532 and therefor I can’t add tags to one of the 8 slots. Is there a trick to it? Thanks
